Sonic Dual Head operational

The Sonic multibeam systems have already proven to boost survey productivity with the wide swath capability. To even further reduce survey time, especially in shallow water, Stema Systems successfully tested a dual-head configuration. Reliable data was obtained up to 20x waterdepth swath coverage. In conjunction with R2Sonic PLC the survey results are presented  a white paper explaining the operation of the Sonic systems in dualhead configuration.

A further notable accomplishement of the survey is the optimal use of ethernet connectivity to ease installation. Data of all sensors including dual-head multibeam was handled over a switch and Laptop type PC.
